Agricultural exports from Tanzania reached USD 3.54 billion in the 2023/24 fiscal year, up from USD 2.3 billion in 2022/23.

This was highlighted in the 2025/26 budget statement of the Ministry of Agriculture, presented to the Parliament of Tanzania on May 21, 2025. Based on this performance, the top 10 agricultural products by export value are shown in the infographic below, Sesame remains the top revenue earner in the country
