Dodoma. The Dodoma Regional Government on Tuesday organized Samia Day under the theme “Samia Has Delivered,” showcasing the achievements of the Sixth Phase Government through testimonials from citizens who have directly benefited from its development initiatives.
As part of the celebrations, Puma Energy Tanzania joined the event in honor of the transformative leadership of H.E. President Samia Suluhu Hassan, particularly her commitment to promoting the adoption of clean and safe energy sources nationwide.
Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary S. Senyamule expressed deep appreciation for Puma Energy’s involvement in the event and its contribution toward advancing clean cooking energy.
“Samia Day is a celebration of the great progress made under our President’s leadership,” said Commissioner Senyamule. “We thank Puma Energy for their meaningful contribution to this day through their generous donation of clean cooking gas.”
She noted that one of the key objectives of Samia Day is to raise awareness about the use of clean energy, a national priority strongly supported by Puma Energy.
Representing Puma Energy Tanzania’s Managing Director, Ms. Fatma Abdalla, the company’s Head of LPG, Mr. Jeffrey Nasser, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Tanzania’s energy transition.
During the event, he officially handed over cooking gas cylinders to Commissioner Senyamule as a symbolic gesture of the partnership.
“Our participation today is a testament to our dedication to the government’s clean energy agenda. Puma Gas, launched in 2022, seeks to improve lives by replacing harmful fuels with safe, reliable, and accessible cooking gas,” said Mr. Nasser.
Puma Energy reiterated its pledge to continue working alongside the government and other stakeholders to expand access to clean, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions for all Tanzanians.
