President Samia has urged Tanzanians to maintain political calm in the country, not to force security organs to react. Samia was speaking today, June 20, 2025, in Mwanza as she was addressing members of the public during the launch of the water project in Butimba.

“I ask my fellow citizens to uphold the reputation of our country, peace, and stability. Let us maintain political calm. Our country should remain peaceful so that we do not force our security and defense forces to take other actions. Let us remain calm, do our work, and promote development,” President Samia said.

“If we start scattering here, nothing will get done, and this is exactly what some people want to happen. I sincerely ask my fellow citizens to uphold the reputation of our country. Tanzania is safe. Let us go and stay in peace,” she emphasized.

President Samia is winding up her tour in the lake zone, which commenced on June 15 in Simiyu and is expected to conclude tomorrow on June 21, 202 in Mwanza.
