The 10th Jubilee edition of the Africa Agri Expo, organised by TAB Group, will take place on September 2–3, 2026, alongside the 3rd Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo, bringing together farmers, agribusiness leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators from across the world.

After nine successful editions, the event has grown into one of the continent’s leading agricultural trade and investment platforms, showcasing opportunities across the entire food and agriculture value chain.

Organisers say this year’s expo will feature live demonstrations and product launches in crop production, smart farming, irrigation, post-harvest technology, machinery, agri-inputs and digital agriculture solutions. The co-located livestock and poultry expo will also highlight animal nutrition, veterinary services, breeding technologies, cold-chain systems and food-processing equipment.

“This is not just a regional event with regional ambitions. It is a global platform anchored in one of the world’s most exciting agricultural frontiers,” organisers said in a statement.

High-level conference sessions will address key issues shaping African agriculture, including climate-smart farming, food security, agri-finance and youth participation in the sector. Industry experts, government officials and international investors are expected to attend.

The expo also offers opportunities for exhibitors, sponsors and speakers to connect with thousands of buyers, distributors and decision-makers under one roof. Businesses seeking to expand into African markets are expected to use the event as a gateway for partnerships and investment opportunities.

TAB Group Chief Executive Officer Tahir Abdul Bari described Africa as “the market of today” and urged global agribusinesses to strengthen ties with the continent.

“The businesses that build relationships here now will lead the next decade of global agri-food trade,” he said.

The event comes at a time when Africa is increasingly viewed as a major global agricultural growth market. The continent holds more than 60 percent of the world’s uncultivated arable land and has one of the fastest-growing food markets due to rapid population growth and urbanisation.

Tanzania, the host nation, is emerging as a strategic agricultural hub in East Africa, supported by fertile land, expanding logistics networks and growing investment in agri-infrastructure. Dar es Salaam’s port connectivity is expected to make the city a key meeting point for businesses seeking access to East and Central African markets.

Organisers say the 2026 edition will feature a larger exhibition floor, broader international participation and expanded networking opportunities, reinforcing its reputation as Africa’s leading agricultural business event.
TAB Group has invited interested stakeholders to be part of the platform by registering through the event’s official website.
